vBC does formulation and development of products in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and veterinary fields. This process is normally divided into four phases. Phase 1 starts with a marketing brief by the client, followed by a review of all relevant scientific literature, in order to determine the right actives and dosages to be used. Once the client is satisfied with the proposed formula Phase 2 starts and includes lab trials and considers different dosage forms and organoleptic issues such as taste, smell, etc. In Phase 3, a pilot batch is produced and placed on stability. In Phase 4 we look at scale-up and tech transfer to the client at his own facility.
